The University of Mary invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Mechanical Engineering. This dynamic role includes teaching and developing engineering courses and laboratories, building strong industry relationships, serving on committees, and contributing to the ethical, moral, and leadership formation of students. The successful candidate will also integrate and synthesize within engineering courses the broad-based liberal arts knowledge and values that comprise the University's core curriculum for all students.

Qualifications and Requirements Include:
- A Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering is required
- A Ph.D. is preferred. The candidate should have the ability to create projects designed to enhance lectures, to guide and mentor students in engineering, to work closely with other faculty members, and to serve on committees in the University and the Community.
- The successful candidate will display enthusiasm for teaching and learning and is able to teach a wide variety of engineering courses and labs is preferred.
- Experience with Linux and C programming
- Knowledge and experience in LaTeX typesetting for scientific publications
- Upholds and supports the Christian, Catholic, Benedictine mission of the University of Mary
- Supports the ongoing implementation of Ex Corde Ecclesiae, the apostolic constitution on Catholic colleges and universities
- Builds a culture of ready and earnest hospitality in the Hamm School of Engineering and throughout the university, in accord with Saint Benedict’s admonition that all be received as Christ
